Bulk Convert Images to PNG under 100KB
Convert JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP images to PNG and compress them to 100KB or less in your browser. Preserves transparency with color quantization and automatic dimension adjustment.
Need an image for an upload or website that allows no more than 100KB? This tool accepts JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP files, then converts every result to PNG in your browser. It keeps transparent areas when the source contains them, reduces the number of colors first, and reduces image dimensions only when necessary. Your original image stays on your device.
How to Bulk Compress PNG to 100KB
- Add one or more JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WebP images.
- Click the compression button and wait for each file to finish.
- Download one result directly, or download multiple results together as a ZIP file.
What Happens to the Image
- The target is no more than 100,000 bytes per image. It does not mean that every file will be exactly 100KB.
- If a PNG file is already below the target, the original file is kept. Other input formats are converted to PNG even when they are already small.
- The tool converts the image to PNG, reduces the number of colors first, and reduces image dimensions only when necessary.
- Transparent areas remain transparent, but colors or fine detail may change.
- Animated PNG files are not supported yet.
PNG files with simple graphics, logos, or screenshots are often easier to reduce than photo-heavy PNG files. If you do not need a transparent background, try the JPG compressor.
Supported Files and Limits
- Supported files: JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP. The output is always PNG.
- Add up to 100 images at a time.
- Each file can be up to 50MB.
- Very large image dimensions may not be processable in every browser.
- Your files are processed locally and are not uploaded.
Organize Images After Compression
If you still need to sort, search, or save the compressed files, you can open the Inset resource library.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I compress an image to PNG under 100KB?
Add a JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WebP, click the compression button, and download the PNG result. The tool reduces colors first, then reduces the image dimensions if needed to reach 100,000 bytes or less.
Will the result be exactly 100KB?
No. The result is 100,000 bytes or smaller. A PNG file that already meets the limit is kept as it is; JPG, JPEG, and WebP files are still converted to PNG.
Can I bulk compress PNG images?
Yes. Add multiple JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WebP images and click the button once. One result downloads directly, while multiple results are packaged into a ZIP file.
Why can bulk PNG compression take some time?
Bulk compression lets you add and download multiple images together, but the images are processed one at a time. To get one PNG under 100KB, the tool may try several color levels. If the file is still too large, it reduces the image dimensions and tries again. One image may therefore be compressed several times before the final result is ready. Large or detailed PNG files usually take longer.
Does PNG compression preserve a transparent background?
Yes. Transparent areas remain transparent, although the tool may reduce colors or image dimensions to meet the target size.
Does the tool support animated PNG files?
No. Animated PNG files are not supported yet.
Does the tool upload my images?
No. The files stay on your device and are processed in your browser.
Does it work on Windows and Mac?
Yes. The tool runs in a browser, so it works on Windows and macOS without installing additional software. Files are processed locally on your device.
Why did the image dimensions change?
If reducing the number of colors is not enough to reach the limit, the tool reduces the width and height while keeping the image proportions.
