Need an image for an upload, form, or website that allows no more than 100KB? This tool accepts JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP files, then converts every result to JPG in your browser. It checks the final file size, adjusts JPEG quality first, and reduces image dimensions only when necessary. Your original image stays on your device.

How to Bulk Compress JPG to 100KB

  1. Add one or more JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WebP images.
  2. Click the compression button and wait for each file to finish.
  3. Download one result directly, or download multiple results together as a ZIP file.

What Happens to the Image

  • The target is no more than 100,000 bytes per image. It does not mean that every file will be exactly 100KB.
  • If a JPG or JPEG file is already below the target, the original file is kept. Other input formats are converted to JPG even when they are already small.
  • The tool converts the image to JPG, lowers JPEG quality first, and reduces image dimensions only when necessary.
  • JPG does not support a transparent background. Transparent areas in PNG or WebP input are filled with white. If you need transparency, use the PNG compressor.

Lowering the quality or dimensions can remove some detail. Check the downloaded image before using it in a form or website.

Supported Files and Limits

  • Supported files: JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP. The output is always JPG.
  • Animated PNG files are not supported yet.
  • Add up to 100 images at a time.
  • Each file can be up to 50MB.
  • Very large image dimensions may not be processable in every browser.
  • Your files are processed locally and are not uploaded.

If you still need to sort, search, or save the compressed files, you can open the Inset resource library.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I compress an image to JPG under 100KB?

Add a JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WebP, click the compression button, and download the JPG result. The tool adjusts the file until it is no larger than 100,000 bytes when possible.

Will the result be exactly 100KB?

No. The result is 100,000 bytes or smaller. A JPG or JPEG file that already meets the limit is kept as it is; PNG and WebP files are still converted to JPG.

Can I bulk compress JPG images?

Yes. Add multiple JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WebP images and click the button once. One result downloads directly, while multiple results are packaged into a ZIP file.

Why can bulk JPG compression take some time?

Bulk compression lets you add and download multiple images together, but the images are processed one at a time. To get one JPG under 100KB, the tool may try several quality levels. If the file is still too large, it reduces the image dimensions and tries again. One image may therefore be compressed several times before the final result is ready. Larger images and more images take longer.

Does JPG compression reduce image quality?

It can. The tool tries to keep as much detail as possible, but reaching a smaller file size may require lower quality or smaller dimensions.

Does the tool upload my images?

No. The files stay on your device and are processed in your browser.

Does it work on Windows and Mac?

Yes. The tool runs in a browser, so it works on Windows and macOS without installing additional software. Files are processed locally on your device.

Why did the image dimensions change?

If lowering JPEG quality is not enough to reach the limit, the tool reduces the width and height while keeping the image proportions.
